Cartoon: Little Guys Bailing Out the Big Guys? What's Wrong With This Picture?
Wall Street's shenanigans helped contribute to the ongoing economic meltdown in America, and who was forced to bail them out? Us Liliputians. Sadly, the reverse is not occurring, as the big buck companies and corporations continue to cut jobs, foreclose on homeowners and outsource employment to cheaper overseas labor pools — by the millions.
The "big guy" seems to have forgotten that he would never have achieved such status were it not for the millions upon millions of domestic customers, and it's high time these folks return the favor.
Being cast as "job creators" flies in the face of current reality. Jobs are being created — but not in this country.
