She thought she had it maid! Dominique Strauss-Kahn cartoon flips as the maid's stories flop

Dominique Strauss-Kahn & the Maid

Given the new twist in the Dominique versus maid controversy, we're no longer certain as to whom was or is doing what to whom in this caper, so the cartoon flips as the maid's stories flop. (Frankly, It's looking more and more like a setup to us.)
What is of particular concern is the news coverage of this alleged event's aftermath. In journalism 101, there are five elementary "w's" needed to be addressed when writing a story: '"Who," "What," "When," "Where" and "Why." Given that we've yet to read such things as "why" the maid has multiple bank accounts, "where" she got the money, "when" she created these accounts, (we'd ask "how?" but that does not begin with a "w",) we'd like to add a few more "w's" into the mix:
Given that this case may turn into a "wash," why did the NYC District attorney so "willingly" "want" to believe the maid's story without what should have been a comprehensive investigation into her background? (Though one was finally done, remember, they were convinced from the outset.) Was it "Wishful" thinking? Given the alleged "incontrovertible evidence" relative to a sexual encounter, what was Dominique doing "with" this maid anyway?
And the most important "w" of all: What does his "wife" think?
